I went to sleep nice and early last night… and then woke up too early again too. I thought of going back to sleep after eating some breakfast and just checking the yellow dust report update online, so I ate my breakfast, and checked the weather.. and then kept reading a bit more. Suddenly it was time to go cycling.
I met Trevor outside and we cycled to the front of the World Cup Stadium where we met James from England. He had just bought a new bicycle. The brand name for his bicycle is called ‘Giant’. James is a very tall man. Perhaps, when he is standing next to me and my bicycle, his bike name is somewhat appropriate.
Anyway, we cycled out past Gwangju University and down the hill to Hwasoon and then back, where we found a nice restaurant in the countryside. We ate gulji jolim jungshik for lunch. It was delicious, although a bit expensive. Then we cycled back into the city traffic again. It was a nice way to start the day, and it was great to be outside in the sun again, even if it was still a bit cool in the breeze.
